At least 65 police officers have died of cancer since 9/11, new stats show.

The Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association released the staggeringly high figure yesterday at a briefing featuring ailing cops who worked at Ground Zero.

The numbers released yesterday will turn up pressure on Mayor Bloomberg to release cancer data to the federal government for expanded medical coverage, PBA officials said.

In March, the feds will decide whether to include cancer in its list of ailments caused by 9/11 and covered by the Zadroga Act.

The Post first reported on the PBA’s data last week, citing 297 cancer-stricken cops.

Officer Alonzo Harris brought his uniform to the briefing. Harris has breathing problems and doctors have confirmed his uniform is covered in carcinogens.
