A 96-year-old Brooklyn man who was struck by a car last month has succumbed to his injuries, cops said Tuesday.

Irwin Mayer was walking on East 22nd Street when he was hit by the 2012 Dodge SUV making a left turn from Voorhies Avenue on May 16, police said.

Mayer, who live around the block from the accident scene, was rushed to Lutheran Medical Center, where he died three days later, cops said.

The 33-year-old driver of the SUV stayed on the scene, and police are still investigating.
