Right time, wrong place.

A British tourist’s $9,000 watch was stolen at a Kennedy Airport security checkpoint, officials said yesterday.

William Rowland, 79, of Birmingham, England, took off the timepiece shortly after 9:30 a.m. and walked through the metal detector. The watch was missing when he got to the other side.

Surveillance video showed a man scooping the Breitling Continental off the conveyor belt and walking away. Officer Joseph Pignitaro, scouring the terminal, bumped into the guy he had just seen in the video.

He was wearing the watch.

Sergio LeBron, 33, of upstate Genoa, was charged with third-degree grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
