$9M bike verdict
A Manhattan jury has awarded $9.1 million to a bicyclist whose leg was mangled in a horrific 2006 accident in Hell’s Kitchen.
Cuman Cropper, 44, was knocked down by a cab and then dragged a third of a block by a city bus, causing permanent injuries to his leg and groin.
The jury found the MTA 70 percent responsible for the accident, and the cab company 30 percent.
