Just when you thought it was safe to put the shovels away.

A fresh batch of snow is headed to the Big Apple, with the forecast calling for three to six inches by Saturday morning.

“The good news is it doesn’t look to be as intense as the blizzard we had the day after Christmas, but it will put down locally heavy snow,” AccuWeather.com meteorologist Alex Sosnowski said. “It will last about 24 hours and looks like it will start after the morning rush hour Friday,” he said
