Christine Quinn has never been mocked as a carrot top, but she defended her fellow redheads regardless yesterday.

“The way to put red-hair discrimination to end is to have a red-haired mayor,” she quipped in response to a report in yesterday’s Post about NYPD brass warning cops not to discriminate against the redheads in their ranks.

“For full disclosure, this is not my natural hair color,” she added.
