ATLANTIC CITY — New Jersey is allowing Atlantic City casinos to offer real-money betting on fantasy sports — as part of a pilot program expected to be announced today.

The state Division of Gaming Enforcement said the casinos may begin accepting entry fees and paying out cash winnings.

Rules are to be spelled out tomorrow, but an online gambling group says players will likely be allowed to draft from a pool of athletes, follow their game stats and compete against other fantasy teams. Those with the best statistical totals will win cash prizes.
