The lawyer for a man accused of slashing two people — including one while he was out on bail for the other attack — called his client a “good guy” on Tuesday.

“I feel really bad for him,” said John Godfrey of Francis Salud, 28, at Salud’s arraignment. “He’s a good guy.”

Salud is accused of first cutting a man outside Bellevue Hospital on Oct. 18.

While out on $30,000 bail, Salud allegedly slashed Anthony Christopher Smith in the East Village on Jan. 16.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Jill Konviser ordered Salud held without bail.
