They’ve already heard from “multiple” female victims. But today, a Manhattan grand jury heard accused sweet-talking “French Journalist” rapist Hugues Akassy speak in his own defense for some 90 minutes.

And he’s still not done.

“He’s not finished with his testimony,” assistant district attorney Jessica Troy told a criminal court judge today of Akassy, who’s being held in last month’s Riverside Park rape and other sex crimes.

“We’re cross examining him tomorrow,” she said.

Neither the prosecutor nor defense lawyer Howard Simmons would predict whether the grand jury would vote on an indictment tomorrow.

Akassy, 42, was arrested July 27 after allegedly chatting up a Russian tourist, inviting her to him for a picnic at Riverside Park, and then leading her to a secluded area and forcibly raping her.

Since then, prosecutors have received dozens of calls from women alleging misconduct. A source with knowledge of the case has said “multiple” female complainants have testified against him in the grand jury.
