There was a great deal of applause as City Councilmember Vincent Gentile delivered a check for $1,000 to Community Board 11.

Gentile presented the funding — which represents an additional city allocation to the local level agency — during the board’s September meeting, which was held at Holy Family Home, 1740 84th Street.
