An Upper West Side after-school program “mentor” who allegedly raped a 14-year-old student also lured three other teens to his apartment on separate occasions, prosecutors said Wednesday.
In addition to the rape victim, Jamal Baughan, 22, an instructor for Roads to Success at PS 191, in February brought another 14-year-old to his Washington Heights pad, where they smoked pot and kissed, prosecutor Sophia Kahn alleged at his Manhattan arraignment.
He also smoked pot with a 13-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl at his apartment on other occasions, according to the criminal complaint.
Defense lawyer Neal Allen said it was “hard to imagine” such things happening at an apartment where Baughan lives with relatives.
