Visitors to P.S. 153 had a brush with nature — thanks to student performers who made them feel as if they were romping in crisp fall leaves, watching snowflakes evaporate, cheering on spring’s blossoms and bathing in summer sunshine!
Mother Nature’s many moods were delivered a sweet salute when after-school youngsters at P.S. 153 performed a spring showcase entitled “Seasons” at the school on Homecrest Avenue, between Avenue T and East 12th Street.
Hailing from the Chinese-American Planning Council’s after-school program, the talented group put forth a rollicking repertoire which had the audience clapping and toe-tapping along.
Ditties for the eleventh annual presentation ranged from “Seasons of Love” from the rock opera “Rent” to the King of Rock’s “Spring Fever.”
