An 85-year-old Mets beer lady replaced in 2008 by a 75-year-old punk kid can’t sue for age discrimination, the Manhattan Supreme Court ruled yesterday.
Mildred Block had charged beer supplier Aramark with ageism for bouncing her from her right-field post after 15 years of working Met games as Shea Stadium. She said her 40-year-old partner got to keep his job.
“I was hurt, shocked,” said Block, who typically collected $40 in tips and plans to appeal.
