A 4-year-old boy who needs a miracle to survive is hoping to get a little help from Puff the Magic Dragon.

Ezra Fineman, who was diagnosed with a genetic disorder called Hyper IgM syndrome when he was just 4 months old, needs a bone- marrow match. And singer Peter Yarrow — of Peter, Paul and Mary fame — is holding a benefit concert to raise money to help find it.

Yarrow met Ezra’s grandparents at a book signing. When they told him about Ezra’s condition and that “Puff the Magic Dragon” is his favorite song, Yarrow offered to help.

“It benefits Ezra, but it also benefits any patient looking for a match,” said Ezra’s mom, Robin Fineman.
