An alligator was found casually walking in upper Manhattan Thursday.
Cops from the 34th Precinct corralled the 3-foot-long reptile at Ninth Avenue and 205th Street in Inwood until Animal Care & Control collected it, police said.
Precinct cops took to Twitter to “croc” a few jokes afterward.
“So this alligator was crossing 9th Ave in #Inwood . . . no, really. At 205 Str. Cops took him to Animal Control #whatnext,” the 34th Precinct tweeted.
“I heard he couldn’t get a cab. And he wasn’t thrilled with Uber either . . .” read another tweet from the precinct.
AC&C said it was looking for a “wildlife rehabilitator” for the alligator.
It was not clear where it came from.
