Almost 40 new subway stations in Manhattan will get Wi-Fi by mid-2015, officials said Thursday.
The new tech-friendly stops will be a mix of Upper and Lower Manhattan stations — such as Fulton Street, Delancey Street, and the 116th Street stop near Columbia University.
Harlem’s 125th Street station near St. Nicholas Avenue and Inwood’s 207th Street stop will also get connected.
So far in 2014, 40 new stations have been brought online, including the Bryant Park and Grand Central stops.
Brooklynites and Bronx riders have so far been left out. No stops in the two boroughs have Wi-Fi, though riders can gab on their phones on elevated lines like the M.
