A Brooklyn soldier was killed in an enemy ambush in Afghanistan over the weekend, officials said yesterday.
Spc. Kevin O. Hill, 23, died Sunday after forces attacked his unit with small arms fire.
Hill, whose family lives in Bushwick, was based in Fort Carson, Colo.
The GI, who listed President Obama as his hero on his MySpace page, was deployed to Afghanistan in April. He joined the Army in September 2008.
Grieving sister Chinyere Hill, 26, last night told WCBS/Channel 2 that her brother, who graduated from Medgar Evers College in Crown Heights, was a “very strong, very quiet person.”
