A woman who accused Andrew Cuomo of sexual harassment while he was governor seethed it is “absolutely disgusting” he’s running for NYC mayor, saying he’s “ill matched” to be the Big Apple’s savior.

“It’s absolutely disgusting that someone who’s an abuser, not simply of women, but of New Yorkers as a whole, would come out of his cave and think that he is the best person to help New York in crisis,” the unnamed accuser, who requested anonymity, told The Post.

She said she expects him to continue his “abusive” ways if elected to City Hall.

“I would say that he has no self-control; he has no respect for women, and so he’s going to invariably do all of the same abusive things that he’s always done,” she said. “He belongs nowhere near power, if anything, he belongs in a cave where he was for the last few years.”

She also alleged he continued to abuse his accusers — in court.

“He subpoenaed one of his victims’ gynecological records. He abused these women legally in court who are suing him . . . The abuse has continued unabated. It’s just taken a legal form,” she claimed.

And she insisted that Cuomo “is exactly what we don’t need at this moment in time.”

The accuser said she is unconcerned about early polls showing Cuomo in the lead, because she believes his Democratic opponents will target him.

“I don’t have any faith in those polls,” she said. “Pretty much all of the other candidates running are uniquely aligned . . . half of their resources aren’t just about getting elected, it’s about making sure this monster doesn’t get elected.”

Cuomo spokesman Rich Azzopardi said his longtime boss continues to adamantly deny committing sexual harassment.

“Five district attorneys thoroughly reviewed the [sexual harassment] claims and determined there wasn’t a single case to bring forward, while civil litigation has actively fallen apart as a result of discovery that gutted the cases,” insisted Azzopardi.

“As we said from day one, the [governor] didn’t harass anyone – and years later, the facts have borne that out,” he said.

“New Yorkers aren’t naive and understand that ugly political situation for exactly what it was. Today, New York City is in crisis – a crisis of affordability, public safety and leadership, and that is what Gov. Cuomo is focused on: The fight to save our city.”
