ALBANY — Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Lazio is blasting his potential rival, Democrat Andrew Cuomo, for hiding in a “foxhole” while Albany burns.

Cuomo, the popular and well-financed attorney general, has refused to say how he would get the state out of its fiscal crisis, address deficits or confront special interests, Lazio charged in speaking to Conservative Party leaders in Albany.
