Scandal-scarred Anthony Weiner’s mood matched the gloomy weather Monday morning as he hobbled out of his Union Square apartment on crutches, his 5-year-old son in tow.

Weiner sported a cast on his right leg and a swollen ankle as he and son Jordan hailed a cab together in the rain.

The Post reported Saturday that the former congressman and wife Huma Abedin, a longtime top aide to Hillary Clinton, are working on saving their six-year marriage.

But when asked if the two were back together, Weiner quietly told a Post reporter, “I don’t have anything for you today but thanks for waiting. It must be tough to sit in the rain.”

The couple announced their separation last August after Weiner was caught sending crotch shots to a woman as his kid slept next to him — the fourth incident in a years-long sexting scandal that forced him to resign from Congress in 2011.
