Anthony Weiner is too much of a dirty dog to even peddle street meat if he fails in his bid for City Hall, a vendor told The Post.
“He seems to be obsessed with his private parts for a grown man. You never know — his hands might be dirty, ” said disgusted hot-dog hawker Youssef Mohamed, 32, who sets up shop at West 44th Street and Eighth Avenue.
Mohamed said the pervy pol need not bother apply for a job at his hot-dog stand, despite the obvious Weiner-on-wiener gimmick.
“He is bad news. If he is not honest to his own wife, he wouldn’t be honest with me. I wouldn’t want him near my business,” Mohamed said.
The vendor was joined by dozens of New Yorkers in a wide range of professional fields — from strip-club managers to church leaders — who told The Post that they wouldn’t hire the sex-obsessed politician.
“God, no, I wouldn’t hire him,” said Raymone Tejeda, 24, who manages the women’s-shoe store Shoegasm in the West Village. “We have females working with us, and God forbid one day he tries to pull a fast one on a girl or tries something fresh.”
The shoe slinger said he would toss Weiner’s résumé — despite the pol’s now very public fetish for high heels.
“It would ruin the comfort of the females that work here,” he said.
Even sex-shop owners said they would turn down Weiner.
“His pattern of self-absorption would never fly here. Not a chance he would be hired,” said Claire Cavanah, co-owner of the Lower East Side sex-toy shop Babeland.
Taxi drivers, lifeguards and parking-lot attendants also said they would rip up his résumé — because lapses in judgment just can’t happen on the job.
But a pedicab driver, an Afghan restaurateur and a porta-potty honcho said they would take him — as long as he works hard.
Charles Howard, president of the porta-potty company Callahead, said Weiner’s a great candidate to clean johns — considering his mind is already in the toilet.
“He’d probably be good at it,” said Howard.
