Anti-ICE protesters were back at it again on Saturday after clashing with federal agents in a violent confrontation in downtown Los Angeles on Friday.

A more subdued demonstration outside City Hall came after hundreds of unruly anti-ICE protesters became locked in a hostile standoff with federal agents Friday outside the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building, pushing a large red dumpster toward the entrance as a shield.

Federal agents were forced to use pepper-spray as the group attempted to storm the building.

Most of the crowd covered their faces with masks, scarves and gas masks.

Others scrawled “F*** ICE” in spray paint along a concrete barrier.

They also piled up a large amount of cardboard and other debris outside the building.

The city saw more muted scenes on Saturday, with a 2 p.m. protest at City Hall drawing demonstrators who appeared happier to bask in the sun than stir up trouble.

Organizers had planned at least nine protests across the LA area, including the sparsely attended ICE Out of Everywhere National Day of Action follow-up at City Hall.

“Everyday Americans are coming together to demand the immediate and permanent removal of ICE, DHS, CBP from communities at over 300 events nationwide,” organizers with the group 50501 SoCal said, according to ABC 7.
