Two Brooklyn streets were flooded Friday afternoon when a water main broke at an apartment building, according to fire officials.
Authorities arrived at the residential building on 953 Putnam Ave. between Howard and Ralph avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant just before 2 p.m.
The building where the water main broke wasn’t evacuated, but water from its broken main flooded two entire streets, resulting in the emergency evacuation of a neighboring building on Howard Avenue, according to fire officials.
A video posted to Citizens App shows murky water rising onto the sidewalk as a result of the break.
The city Department of Environmental Protection and Con Edison were among the entities at the scene.
No one has been injured.
