It’s a color that only Kermit could envy.

This is one of the “apple green” cabs that will soon scour upper Manhattan and the outer boroughs for street hails.

Mayor Bloomberg unveiled the oddball color for the 18,000 liveries that will hit the streets in June.

“It is easy on the eyes and easy to pick out from a distance in traffic,” Bloomberg said, leading some on Twitter to question whether the mayor is colorblind regarding the alleged “apple green” color. “Or as it’s more commonly known: bile,” tweeted Mark Harris.
