The Resorts World Aqueduct racino will expand its gambling operation on Dec. 16, doubling to 5,000 the number of slot machines and electronic table games available to bettors.
The 2,514 new machines will be located in the new “5th Avenue Casino” on the second floor.
Phase II follows the successful October grand opening of the “Times Square” casino on the first floor that drew 65,000 people after the doors opened.
Bettors have wagered $618.65 million in the first six weeks.
The newly opened sections of the casino also will include two new new posh restaurants — Genting Palace, a Chinese eatery, and RW Prime Steakhouse.
High rollers will have access to a new exclusive VIP room called Crockfords Casino, which includes 78 gaming machines and a full-service private lounge.
