Arab school vote
An education panel voted last night to change the city’s controversial Arabic-themed public school in Brooklyn from a junior high to a senior high school.
And when that happens next year, the Khalil Gibran International Academy will move from its current location near the Navy Yard to downtown Brooklyn.
The changes involved extensive talks with the school’s partner organizations, New Visions for Public Schools and the Arab-American Family Support Center.
