‘Arbor’ home for Xmas
A 74-foot-tall Christmas tree arrived at Rockefeller Center yesterday, ringing in the traditional start of the holiday season.
The 75-year-old Norway spruce from Mifflinville, Pa., was hoisted into its place of honor with a crane and will be decorated with 30,000 multicolored LED lights.
The tree-lighting ceremony will be held on Nov. 30 and feature performances by singing stars including Tony Bennett, Justin Bieber, Michael Bublé and Faith Hill.
