The driver of an SUV that killed a Brooklyn woman in a hit-and-run crash in Morningside Heights was arrested Thursday afternoon, a police source said.

Previdor Porbeni, 28, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident after cops say he plowed into Guler Ugur-Yaacobi, 44, as she crossed West 113th Street at Amsterdam Avenue at 6 p.m. on December 31, according to police sources.

Cops say Porbeni immediately fled the scene while Ugur-Yaacobi was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital in cardiac arrest.

She was pronounced dead on arrival, according to authorities.

Porbeni was collared after witnesses gave cops the license plate number and a description of the SUV he was driving when he fatally struck Ugur-Yaacobi.
