A man has been charged with murder in the tragic Mother’s Day hit-and-run that killed a Queens mom, police said Thursday.
Roosevelt Rose, 56, is accused of pinning 49-year-old Florence Ngwu between two parked cars around 8:30 a.m. May 8 as he tried to make a U-turn in a stolen heavy-duty Ford F-550 at 167th Street and 120th Avenue, cops said.
Neighbors scrambled to call 911 as the woman’s child looked on and screamed, “Mommy! Mommy!” video previously obtained by The Post shows.
Florence Ngwu was rushed to the hospital where she died, police said.
