Police have arrested a 41-year-old Pennsylvania man in a Brooklyn fire this past week that investigators said was intentionally set at rabbi’s home, cops said Sunday.

Matthew Karelefsky, of McKeesport, Pa., is accused of starting the blaze in a three-story home on East 17th Street in Midwood, which quickly spread to two neighboring houses and injured 13 people.

Karelefsky was arrested and charged with arson and two counts of attempted murder, according to the NYPD.

The Post reached Karelefsky by phone Thursday and admitted to having an issue with the Brooklyn rabbi.
“I do hate him. Doesn’t mean I torched his house,” the suspect wrote in a text-message exchange with a reporter. “Of course the police will think it is me.”
Karelefsky could not be immediately reached Sunday for comment.
