An off-duty NYPD sergeant was charged with assault after beating a gal pal yesterday, officials said.

Christopher Groben, 35, allegedly roughed up the 33-year-old woman in his Mount Kisco home at 2:40 p.m. The victim was taken to a hospital.

Groben — a housing cop in The Bronx — was released without bail last night. He was suspended without pay, said an NYPD spokesman.
