A Washington Heights Democrat who was the first Dominican woman to be elected to the state Assembly is slated to appear before a Manhattan federal judge at 3 p.m. Friday on a “public corruption matter,” according to a notice sent out by Manhattan US Attorney Preet Bharara’s office.
No further information has been released regarding the court appearance by first-term Assemblywoman Gabriela Rosa, who took over a seat in 2013 previously held by Guillermo Linares.
