At least six people were shot across the city early Thursday — including a 16-year-old boy wounded as he left a Brooklyn party, cops said.
The teen was blasted in the lower back as he walked out of the party at Avenue K and East 43rd Street in Flatlands around 3:10 a.m., cops said.
He reported to police that he heard shots and felt pain, and was taken to Kings County Hospital Center in stable condition.
The incident came amid a spike in gunplay citywide in recent weeks and followed seven shootings that wounded 12 victims on Wednesday, according to preliminary numbers.
As of Thursday morning, there had been 33 shootings — with 43 people gunned down — since 12:01 a.m. Monday, NYPD sources said.
There were just 20 during the entire week at the same point in time last year, sources said,
If the present rate continues through the weekend, it would more than triple last year’s number of shootings.
The gunplay comes amid a spike in shootings citywide in recent weeks.
On the Lower East Side, a 21-year-old man was shot in the leg on the grounds of the LaGuardia Houses on Jefferson Street around 1 a.m.
A male was shot in the leg in the vicinity of 65 Jefferson St.Seth GottfriedHe was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, and also stated that he heard shots and felt pain, cops said.
A second man, 20, who was shot in the buttocks, walked into NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem on his own, according to police. Cops describe him as uncooperative.
Three others were reported shot in the Bronx in the early morning hours, according to police.
A 25-year-old man was shot in the leg and stomach on Bronx River Avenue near East 174th Street around 4:30 a.m.
He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition, and is described as uncooperative, cops said.
Another man was shot in both legs at Prospect Avenue and East 183rd Street around 3:20 a.m. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. Cops are hunting two men wearing dark hooded shirts in connection with the shooting.

He was taken to St. Barnabas with non-life-threatening injuries.
Earlier in the night, around 11 p.m. Wednesday, two men, 32 and 41, were shot on Cedar Avenue in the Morris Heights section of the Bronx, cops said.
