A woman hurled anti-Asian statements at a Mandarin-speaker this week in Manhattan, and then slapped her in the face, according to cops and new surveillance video.
The 25-year-old victim was sitting at a table on Grand Street near Forsyth Street on the Lower East Side, chatting with a friend, around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, when a woman walked up to her, cops said.
“I don’t want you talking,” the stranger allegedly snapped. “Shut the f–k up! Go back to your country!”
The suspect walked away, but then turned back and slapped the woman across the face, the video shows.
The victim refused medical attention. It wasn’t clear if she was dining at a restaurant’s outdoor area when the incident happened.

She was last seen wearing black tank top, black pants, white sneakers and carrying a gray coat.
