A woman who attacked her two young nieces in a bloody rampage inside her sister’s Westchester home across the street from Martha Stewart’s farm was the one who called 911 after the stabbing, police said today.

Jeffrey Dickan, a lieutenant with Bedford Police, said Lisa Turkki, 39, is the one who called 911 after she grabbed a knife from the kitchen of the Katonah home and stabbed Maeve and Annabel Kelly, ages 7 and 9, on Saturday night.

“The scene was horrendous,” he said. “It was quite horrible. There was a lot of blood in the kitchen area of the house.”

Dickan would not comment when asked what Turkki told the 911 dispatcher.

Cops searched the house and there had been no one other than Turkki and the kids.

Parents had been out for “maybe a couple of hours” at a concert when the brutal attack took place.

Two kitchen knives appear to have been the weapons, police said.

Turkki sustained minor injury to leg, possibly self-inflicted, and the kids are in stable condition at Westchester Medical Center.

The result of a urine and blood test are pending, police said.

Turkki has been charged with first-degree assault.

“Hopefully the children will recover, and I don’t believe the charges will be upgraded at this time,” Dickan said.

Turkki is slated to appear in court on Thursday.
