A boy’s hands were crushed by an airplane engine during shop class at a city technical high school, a lawsuit claims.

Narendra Bischt claims his son, identified only as N.B. in court papers, was moving the airplane engine in a cart at Aviation Career and Technical High School in Queens in February when it fell on his hands, causing injuries that required surgery.

The dad filed a lawsuit in Queens Supreme Court against the city Department of Education, alleging negligence.

The suit, which seeks unspecified damages, claims the boy was unsupervised when the incident occurred and the Department of Education did not teach students how to properly move large equipment.
