A wayward baboon who possibly escaped from an amusement-park animal attraction remained on the loose in southern New Jersey yesterday afternoon, causing concern among local residents but creating a buzz among online followers closely following its travels.

Three new sightings were reported yesterday in Jackson Township, not far from Six Flags Great Adventure’s Monkey Jungle.
