A early-morning Manhattan blaze injured a baby and three other people before firefighters snuffed the fast-moving blaze.
The fire roared through the fifth floor of a six-floor brick Harlem apartment building on Manhattan Avenue, near West 115th Street, around 5 a.m., according to an FDNY spokesperson. The fire was doused around 6 a.m.
The baby, another child and a firefighter were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment for minor injuries. The third victim, an adult, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in serious condition.
