A Brooklyn author will be bringing home the bacon after winning a lawsuit.
Lisa Skye had sued Andrews McMeel Publishing and her former agent Jayne Rockmill last month, saying Rockmill had been negotiating on her behalf to produce a series of “I Love . . . ” celebrity cookbooks but instead filched the idea after Skye fired her.
Rockmill and Andrews McMeel published “I Love Bacon” without Skye. To settle the suit, Andrews McMeel agreed to publish “I Love Corn,” for Skye.
No money changed hands in the deal, but the book contract “opens up a world of possibility” for Skye, said her lawyer, Elise Schwarz.
