A gambling addict who bizarrely targets only Chase bank branches struck twice in the city yesterday, the FBI said.
Armed bandit Sam Chatman, 54, first targeted a Chase branch on Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron District at 11:45 a.m., and fled empty-handed, the feds said.
But he left behind a note that threatened law enforcement and said “he was willing to shoot anybody,” according to FBI spokesman Peter Donald.
Chatman, who the agency says is known to frequent casinos, high-tailed it to The Bronx by 1 p.m. and allegedly scored cash from the Chase branch on West 225th Street in Riverdale.
He also hit Chase banks in Manhattan on June 18 and July 27, the feds said. He is still at large.
