H&H Bagels’ original Upper West Side location is closing after nearly 40 years.

“There’s no experience like walking into H&H and feeling the bins to see which flavor is hot,” Walter Shapiro, a devoted customer, said yesterday.

Workers said a rent dispute is forcing the premier bagel shop at Broadway and West 80th Street — but not H&H’s West 46th Street plant — to close for good this weekend.
