A Queens band whose songs have been featured on such TV shows as “Keeping up with the Kardashians” and “CSI: Miami” is suing Sotheby’s International Realty and an affiliated California Realtor for using its tune in an online marketing video.
Management company Yesh LLC — which represents the group American Dollar — filed a $150,000 copyright-infringement suit against SIR and Realtor Suzanne Perkins in Brooklyn federal court on Monday.
The complaint claims Perkins used the group’s song “Fade In/Out” to jazz up a boring video of Sotheby’s partners at a meeting.
Sotheby’s International and Yesh attorney Richard Garbarini didn’t return calls for comment
