A never-say-die bandit robbed two banks in Manhattan Friday afternoon after coming up empty at his first target.
The note-passing crook attempted to rob a Wilshire Bank on Fifth Avenue near 31st Street at about 1:10 p.m. but left empty-handed.
Undeterred, the thief then successfully robbed a Chase Bank on Lexington Avenue near East 69th Street before making an illegal withdrawal at an HSBC Bank on Third Avenue near East 68th Street.
