Prominent Columbia architecture professor Lionel McIntyre, accused of socking a female colleague during a racially heated conversation in a bar, reportedly blew off a court appearance, and a bench warrant has been issued.

The Manhattan DA’s Office said the judge had issued the warrant, according to the Columbia Spectator.

The case has been adjourned until Jan. 26.

According to police reports, McIntyre, 59, a professor in the urban-planning program at the Graduate School of Architecture, punched School of the Arts production manager Camille Davis at the bar Toast, on Broadway near 125th Street, on Nov. 6. He’s black; she’s white.

McIntyre faces assault and harassment charges.
