The Yankees and the Mets have finally christened the 2010 baseball season — and while it’s too early to tell which of our hometown teams will be left standing in October, everyone in the city has a strong opinion on the matter. As such, we invited our resident Met and Yankee fans — Gersh Kuntzman and Vince DiMiceli — to explain the roots of their fanaticism and, in the case of Kuntzman, to explain whether there is a cure for the terminal condition of being a fan of the (less-than) Amazin’s.
