A man beaten by NYPD cops in a Brooklyn synagogue filed a federal civil-rights suit yesterday against the arresting officers.
Ehud Halevy, 21, who had permission to sleep at the shul, cites a security-camera video of him being pepper-sprayed, punched and struck with a baton on Oct. 8 by the cops — who said Halevy resisted them.
“The emotional scars from that night are still with him,” said attorney Norman Siegel.
