Governor Andrew Cuomo’s appointee to head Battery Park City Authority’s lasted only 11 months.
Demetrios Boutris, 52, resigned today as President and COO of the state agency founded in 1968 and tasked seed commercial business while protecting the 92-acres of gardens known as the “largest green neighborhood in the world.”
Sources told The Post that the leader—who from Harvard Law School and worked at the White House, made a “hasty exit.”
Calls to Boutris were not immediately returned.
