A Queens jury convicted a National Guardsman yesterday for the beating death of his girlfriend on a Far Rockaway beach.

David Lynch sat stone-faced as the foreman declared him guilty in the 2010 death of Althea Lewis.

Lynch, 32, beat and drowned the woman he claimed he loved, said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown, who called for a maximum sentence to “punish him and protect society.”
