Former Miss Russia Anna Malova — already on the hook for misdemeanor prescription-forging charges — was hit with a 44-count felony narcotics indictment yesterday charging that she continued her Manhattan Rx filch-and-fill spree even after her arrest.
The new indictment alleges that in the year since her misdemeanor arrest in February 2010, Malova, pictured at court yesterday, tried to fill another 11 stolen prescriptions for Vicodin and Klonopin.
Her lawyer, Robert Gottlieb, has lobbied the courts for the last year to keep his client in rehab and out of jail.
