The hapless thug who allegedly tried to hold up a Bed-Stuy beauty salon but had his gun shot out of his hand by an off-duty cop has been charged with attempted murder.

Winston Cox, 20, ordered staff and patrons at Sabine’s Beauty Salon to hand over their money on Oct. 23, cops said.

Feris Jones, an off-duty cop getting her hair done, confronted Cox.

She identified herself as a cop, at which point Cox opened fire, according to the indictment.

She returned fire, hitting Cox in the hand, and locked him in the store.
